Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Blink Midrange strategy commanded by Oji, the Exquisite Blade. The game plan revolves around deploying efficient enter-the-battlefield creatures and repeatedly flickering them using Oji's second-spell trigger, Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Displacer Kitten. Early turns focus on mana smoothing with low-cost rocks and medallions, followed by mid-game card flow via creatures like Aether Channeler and Serum Visionary. Because the deck operates without compact infinite combos, its primary path to victory is casting and redigging for Approach of the Second Sun, supported by a secondary combat plan powered by Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings and token swarms. Disruption is largely tempo-oriented, leveraging white and blue return-to-hand or delay spells to buy time. The deck plays a fair, grindy control game that excels in extended matches where its incremental card advantage outvalues the table.
