Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Jeskai spellslinger build commanded by Gandalf, Party Guest. The strategy establishes a low-curve board of legendary Wizards (such as Vivi Ornitier, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, and Kaza, Roil Chaser) to scale Gandalf's combat ability. Beginning on Turn 4, Gandalf cheat-casts high-mana instants and sorceries for free at the beginning of each combat phase, bypassing traditional mana constraints. The deck converts this massive mana velocity into overwhelming board presence using spell copiers like Harmonic Prodigy and Alania, Divergent Storm, asymmetric sweeps like Call Forth the Tempest, and explosive finishers including Akroma's Will, Surge to Victory, and Taunt from the Rampart. Supported by efficient free interaction and redundant token engines like Kykar, Wind's Fury, the deck reliably threatens table-wide lethal combat by Turn 5 or 6.
