Unctus Vehicles Blue by user2649140

Format: Commander

Commander: Unctus, Grand Metatect

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Unctus, Grand Metatect is the engine of a mono-blue Vehicle deck that turns tapping creatures into card draw and artifact buffs. The primary plan is to develop artifact mana dorks, cast Unctus early, crew evasive Vehicles, and convert attack/tap triggers into a large board and full hand. Secondary paths are the untap/tap combo lines built around Aphetto Alchemist, Pemmin's Aura, Tolarian Kraken, and Nardole, which produce infinite mana and +1/+1 counters on crewed Vehicles. The commander's role is both draw engine and artifact-lord; without him the deck falls back to a slower Vehicle beatdown. There is no double-faced commander; Cosima // The Omenkeel is a support Vehicle, not a hidden commander.
