Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat midrange build commanded by Thantis, the Warweaver. The strategy revolves around accelerating into Thantis to force every creature on the battlefield to attack each turn. This dynamic dismantles opposing defensive lines, forces fragile utility creatures into unfavorable trades, and rapidly drains life totals across the table. While opponents are forced to swing into formidable deathtouch blockers such as Glissa Sunslayer and Treetop Snarespinner, Thantis grows larger with +1/+1 counters. The deck leverages this disrupted battlefield to land heavy beaters like Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, Calamity, Galloping Inferno, and Colossal Dreadmask, closing games through decisive combat steps and extra combat triggers from Port Razer or Great Train Heist. Because the deck operates largely at sorcery speed and lacks creature tutors, it relies on steady card draw engines to grind out card advantage and maintain pressure.
