The Madcap Jester B2 by cckgobblin

Format: Commander

Commander: The Madcap Jester

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Madcap Jester leads this Grixis theft-and-exile deck, which aims to exile opponents' cards through combat triggers (the commander's attack, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Thief of Sanity, Grenzo, Havoc Raiser) and then cast those spells. The deck capitalises on "cast from exile" payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist, Keeper of Secrets, Nalfeshnee, and Spider-Verse to generate extra value, direct damage, and copied spells. It has no infinite combos; instead it wins through gradual card advantage, creature combat, and accumulating damage from Keeper of Secrets or Passionate Archaeologist. The plan is mid-range, relying on consistent attacks to fuel its engine while disrupting opponents with spot removal and a handful of counterspells.
