Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a legendary-Wizard spellslinger build that turns cheap Wizards into an unstoppable combat engine. The primary plan is to populate the board with Talrand Drakes, Kykar Spirits, and Goblin Wizard tokens, then use Gandalf's beginning-of-combat discount to fire a free instant or sorcery every turn. Kaza and Kitsa multiply spells; Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran double triggers; and Great Train Heist adds extra combats for a finishing attack. A secondary, cleaner win is the Niv-Mizzet, Parun / Visionary draw-damage loop. The commander is central but not essential: the deck can still chain spells and win through either path without Gandalf, though more slowly.
