Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck led by Vivi Ornitier. The strategy revolves around casting a high density of low-cost noncreature spells to trigger Vivi's ability, simultaneously growing its power and dealing direct damage to all opponents. Vivi acts as both a win condition and a massive mana engine, tapping for mana equal to its power to fuel extended storm turns. Cost reducers such as Stormcatch Mentor and trigger multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality accelerate this game plan. The deck finishes games through explosive storm sequences powered by Underworld Breach, high-damage spells like Crackle with Power, or the deterministic combo of Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Curiosity. With ample reactive interaction and efficient card selection, the list executes a fast, burn-centric game plan.
