Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a synergistic Aristocrats Reanimator combo engine commanded by Bartolomé del Presidio, who provides an accessible, free sacrifice outlet in the command zone. The deck's primary win condition revolves around establishing an infinite sacrifice and recursion loop using creatures such as Brotherhood Outcast, Sun Titan, or Boonweaver Giant paired with return-on-death auras like Kaya's Ghostform, Necrogen Communion, or Angelic Renewal. When looped alongside an aristocrat drain payoff like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, or Zulaport Cutthroat, the engine drains all three opponents for lethal damage in a single turn. The deck supports this game plan through efficient 1–2 CMC mana rocks, deep self-mill engines, high card velocity via Skullclamp and sacrifice cantrips, and multi-target reanimation spells like Victimize and Dread Return. While lacking stack countermagic, the deck achieves high resilience through deep functional redundancy and rapid graveyard recovery.
