Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color legendary tribal list helmed by Jodah, the Unifier. It uses efficient early ramp and an optimal mana base of original duals, fetchlands, and shocklands to deploy Jodah on Turn 4. Once Jodah is on the battlefield, casting any legendary spell triggers a pseudo-cascade effect, casting another legendary nonland card from the deck for free. This doubles the rate of permanent deployment while Jodah's static ability provides a massive +X/+X anthem to all legendary creatures for each legendary creature on board. The deck quickly overruns the table with lethal combat damage by Turn 6. Supported by legendary tutors such as Captain Sisay and Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, strong draw engines like Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain and Reki, the History of Kamigawa, and robust board protection like Flawless Maneuver and Heroic Intervention, the list recovers smoothly and threatens lethal damage from multiple angles.
