Deck overview

This Jeskai midrange deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to execute a combat-focused, counter-proliferating God typal game plan. The strategy revolves around accumulating experience counters by attacking with legendary Gods and triggering death triggers, which permanently buff the player. Kratos converts these experience counters into massive +1/+1 counters on your creatures at each end step, while Atreus turns them into burst card draw and direct table-wide burn. Proliferate engines like Flux Channeler and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus rapidly multiply experience counters without requiring risky combat trades. A resilient suite of indestructible Gods, such as Iroas, God of Victory and God-Eternal Oketra, provides durable attackers that dodge damage and common sweepers. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage supported by extra combat steps from Aurelia, the Warleader and non-combat pings from Atreus and Thor, Asgard's Avenger.
