Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue control-combo list helmed by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. Eluge turns lands into Islands, grows into a huge body off Island count, and discounts the first instant or sorcery each turn based on flood counters. The real plan lives in the 99: a dense counterspell suite, instant/sorcery value and recursion, and two clean combo finishes-primarily Leveler + Thassa's Oracle, backed by extra-turn bombs (Expropriate, Nexus of Fate) and free-spell engines like Omniscience. Secondary paths include Talrand, Sky Summoner Drake swarms, theft (Bribery, Blatant Thievery, Mass Manipulation), and combat with a pumped Eluge under Harbinger of the Seas. The deck plays draw-go, answers threats on the stack, then converts card advantage into a library-empty win or a decisive extra-turn turn. Eluge accelerates the spell chain but is not required for the combo or control core.
