Deck overview

This deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance with Michelangelo, the Heart to create a self-sustaining +1/+1 counter and token engine straight from the Command Zone. Michelangelo drops early to attack and generate Food tokens, which immediately triggers Leonardo to distribute counters across your entire battlefield. The 99 amplifies this synergy using potent counter doublers such as Doubling Season and Corpsejack Menace, alongside direct burn from All Will Be One and damage doubling from Raphael, the Muscle. Asymmetric tools like Wave Goodbye clear opposing boards while keeping your modified creatures intact. The deck leverages versatile removal like Assassin's Trophy and protection like Heroic Intervention to navigate midrange board states, culminating in decisive combat steps powered by Leonardo's 5-color trample, menace, and lifelink ability.
