Deck overview

This deck executes a focused mono-green stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It accelerates mana on early turns using efficient mana dorks and under-costed, high-power creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Tangleweave Armor. By assembling ten or more total power on the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, the deck reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, the deck transitions into an aggressive combat clock backed by power-matters card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. The strategy converts high raw power into table elimination through combat overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and lacking stack interaction, the deck features strong redundancy, high mana velocity, and rapid two-turn engine recovery, allowing it to repeatedly threaten lethal commander and trample damage across the table.
