Abarb Coins by Abarb

Format: Commander

Commander: Athreos, Shroud-Veiled

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Orzhov attrition-reanimation deck built around Athreos, Shroud-Veiled's coin counters. The primary plan is to sacrifice or kill coin-countered creatures, let Athreos return them, and use Resourceful Defense to keep the counters rotating while Blood Artist or Agent of the Iron Throne drains the table. The main combo is Ashnod's Altar + Athreos + Resourceful Defense + Viscera Seer. Secondary paths lean on Gisa, Sheoldred, and Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern (a hidden commander in the 99) to steal sacrificed/discarded permanents, plus Sun Titan/Liliana recursion and a Baneful Omen finish. Athreos acts as the recursion engine and an indestructible blocker.
