Deck overview

This Mono-Green Counters Stompy deck is piloted by Edgar, Moonlit Sovereign, combining heavy +1/+1 counter synergies with aggressive creature stompy lines. The strategy accelerates in the opening turns via efficient mana dorks and ramp spells, quickly establishing powerful engine pieces like Innkeeper's Talent, Tribute to the World Tree, and Sylvan Library. Edgar, Moonlit Sovereign leverages flash to enter on opposing end steps, preserving open mana for reactive protection like Heroic Intervention or interaction like Beast Within. The deck features exponential counter multipliers including Doubling Season, Court of Garenbrig, and Defiler of Vigor, alongside the infinite creature combo of Herd Baloth and Ivy Lane Denizen. Trample enablers like Kodama of the West Tree and Garruk's Uprising ensure massive modified creatures break through opposing boards to deliver lethal damage by turn 6–7.
