Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Howling Abomination turns every copy of a targeted spell into +2/+2 and 2 damage to each opponent, so the deck is built around creating as many targeted spells as possible. Zada, Hedron Grinder is the hidden commander: combined with Storm-Kiln Artist or Electro, Assaulting Battery, a one-mana cantrip can draw cards, make mana, and pump the team simultaneously. Backup plans use Mirrorwing Dragon, Leyline of Resonance, and Venerated Rotpriest poison. The deck wants to spend turns 1-4 developing a wide board and engines, then win in one chain of cantrips and pumps, usually through Chandra's Ignition or a huge double-striking commander.
