Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck harnesses the power of Angel tribal synergies and lifegain payoffs, piloted by Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana acceleration such as Giada, Font of Hope, Llanowar Elves, and Starnheim Aspirant to cast Sigarda ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Sigarda shields all other permanents with hexproof while turning the top of the library into an extended hand of Angel and Human spells. The mid-game quickly scales life totals and creature power using keystones like Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune, and Bishop of Wings. The deck protects its board with premier defensive instants like Teferi's Protection, Flare of Fortitude, and Heroic Intervention. It closes games on Turns 7 to 8 through overwhelming evasive flying combat damage, supplemented by alternate win conditions like Angel of Destiny and The Book of Exalted Deeds.
