Deck overview

This is a five-color Walls/Defender tribal midrange deck helmed by Kenrith, the Returned King. The core plan floods the board with high-toughness defenders, converts them into attackers via Arcades, the Strategist, High Alert, and Doran, Besieged by Time, and generates explosive mana from Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement. Kenrith supplies flexible utility-card draw, reanimation, trample/haste, and life gain-while the 99 layers pillowfort taxes, symmetric draw, and alternate win conditions. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat damage, Betor, Kin to All's toughness thresholds, decking via Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or Approach of the Second Sun.
