Deck overview

Helmed by Kathril, Aspect Warper, this Abzan deck is a self-mill, keyword-counter reanimator build that turns a stocked graveyard into an enormous, evasive, nearly untouchable commander. The primary plan is to fill the bin with keyword carriers - Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Shrike Force, Hit-Monkey, Glissa Sunslayer - then cast Kathril so his ETB places flying, double strike, hexproof, indestructible, trample, lifelink, and haste counters onto him for a one-shot commander damage kill. A secondary, non-combat axis uses Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord plus Lord of Extinction or a huge Old Stickfingers to drain the entire table, while Living Death and Eerie Ultimatum rebuild the board after wipes. Mole Man, Moloid Master and Hedge Shredder provide a long-game landfall/value engine. This is a classic midrange graveyard deck: powerful when the bin is full, but heavily exposed to graveyard hate.
