Deck overview

This is a +1/+1 counter-matters deck piloted by Anafenza, the Foremost in the command zone. The primary game plan is to build a wide board of creatures with outlast and bolster, then leverage mass counter synergies like Cathars' Crusade and Abzan Ascendancy to turn a token/spirit swarm into overwhelming combat damage. The deck also gains life and uses incidental graveyard exile from the commander to disrupt opponent reanimation. Win conditions are entirely combat-based, leaning on incremental pump & evasion granted by Abzan Falconer (flying), Abzan Battle Priest (lifelink), and Tuskguard Captain (trample). There are no infinite combos, nor a stax lock; victory is achieved through a timely mass-boost turn or cumulative chip damage from pumped flyers and lifelink creatures. A slower build with heavy mana cost, the deck grinds opponents down with card-quality advantage from Stax like Blighted Steppe and multiple signets.
