Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon-tribal beatdown deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon. Its two built-in advantages - the eminence discount on every other Dragon spell and the attack trigger that draws a card per attacking Dragon, then free-casts a permanent from hand - define the game plan: ramp into a critical mass of evasive flyers, attack, and snowball. The deck leans on attack-trigger economics: Utvara Hellkite makes 6/6 tokens, Old Gnawbone and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient rain Treasures and mana, and Savage Ventmaw fuels the Aggravated Assault infinite-combat line that can end the game in a single turn. Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm doubles every nontoken Dragon, while Atarka, World Render, Twinflame Tyrant, and Thrakkus the Butcher turn a modest horde into a one-shot. Tiamat is the deck's only true tutor, and Call the Spirit Dragons offers a slow five-color alternate win.
