Deck overview

This mono-green deck combines aggressive landfall Voltron with asymmetric stax pieces to control the pace of the game. Built around Tifa Lockhart, the primary plan accelerates her onto the battlefield on Turn 1 or 2 using dense fast mana and land ramp. Because Tifa doubles her power with every land that enters the battlefield, pairing her with fetchlands, multi-land sorceries like Harrow, or base-power setters like Scale Up allows her to deal lethal trampling commander damage as early as Turn 3. To protect this sequential combat strategy, the deck deploys disruptive stax pieces like Trinisphere, Null Rod, and Collector Ouphe to slow fast combo opponents. A premier suite of reactive protection spells, led by Sylvan Safekeeper and Veil of Summer, ensures Tifa survives removal to eliminate each opponent in turn by Turn 5.
