Deck overview

An Izzet artifact-velocity deck helmed by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The front side is a cheap, repeatable top-four dig that stockpiles artifacts; the back side is a hasty 5/5 flyer that puts an artifact from hand onto the battlefield every combat, auto-attaching any Equipment. The primary path is Equipment-voltron: stack Genji Glove's extra combat, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor's damage doubling, and Sword of Fire and Ice/The Key to the Vault advantage to one-shot opponents on commander damage. The 99 is a dense artifact castle - affinity fatties (Broodstar, Metalwork Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord), token multiplication (Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, Simulacrum Synthesizer, Saheeli, the Gifted), and two alternate wins in Hellkite Tyrant (20 artifacts) and Mechanized Production (8 copies of one artifact). Plan B is a wide board of evasive artifact creatures crashing through. The curve is high and the mana base slightly slow, so games trend toward a turn 8-9 goldfish.
