Deck overview

This Abzan deck leverages The Necrobloom as a dual-purpose engine that grants all land cards in the graveyard dredge 2 while generating an expansive army of Plant and Zombie tokens on landfall. The strategy ramps rapidly on Turns 1–3 using cheap land-search spells and extra land enablers like Exploration, Lotus Cobra, and Azusa, Lost but Seeking. By Turn 4, the commander enters the battlefield, turning fetchlands and horizon lands into repeatable card advantage and board presence. On Turn 5, the deck deploys exponential token multipliers or landfall finishers such as Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Ancient Greenwarden, or Doubling Season. Opponents are given a single turn cycle to answer the growing board before an overwhelming alpha strike or massive life drain from Mirkwood Bats and Corpse Knight closes the game on Turn 6.
