Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and coin-flip midrange strategy commanded by Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Yusri early, utilizing flip-enhancers like Krark's Thumb and Edgar, King of Figaro, and attacking to generate massive card draw and Treasure tokens via Tavern Scoundrel. As card advantage compounds, the deck transitions into lethal threats that scale with coin flips and hand size, including Okaun, Eye of Chaos, The Locust God, Psychosis Crawler, and Twenty-Toed Toad. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells and spot removal protects key permanents and disrupts opposing threats. While the deck has an explosive ceiling capable of casting its entire hand for free or resolving Enter the Infinite, ordinary games win through steady card advantage, evasive token swarms, and exponential combat damage across turns 6 to 8.
