Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck helmed by Thorin Oakenshield, built around the "Storied" mechanic and the synergy between a dense Dwarf-legend package and a heavy Equipment suite. The primary plan is to deploy Dwarf legends like Kili the Resourceful, Dain Ironfoot, and Bifur, Melodic Rider, suit them up with Equipment, and attack with doubled triggers and overwhelming combat value. Win conditions are combat damage from equipped Dwarves, Balin, Loremaster's hand-dumping burn, and incidental pings from Gimli, Counter of Kills. Thorin himself is a modest ward-anthem lord - the real engines live in the 99, making this a resilient tribal pile that grinds through card advantage rather than racing to a combo.
