Deck overview

This deck is a Jund attrition engine focused on -1/-1 counters, wither, and blight mechanics led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy uses low-cost ramp to deploy Auntie Ool on Turn 3 or 4, then layers on global counter placement effects. Distributing counters shrinks opposing threats, drains enemy life totals, and refills your hand through Auntie Ool's card draw ability. Synergies like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons flood the board with tokens, while Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night lock down opposing creatures. The deck finishes games through wide token combat, direct burn from All Will Be One, life drain from Obelisk Spider, or an infinite power combo with Devoted Druid and Quillspike. Strong spot removal controls key threats, though the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes and non-creature combo strategies.
