Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is an Esper drain-control deck that stumbles opponents with counters, removal, and pillow-fort pieces while converting every 3+ MV noncreature spell into life loss and card advantage. The main plan is incremental: keep the board clear, resolve cost reducers such as Valeria, Alisaie, and Alphinaud, then chain draw spells and removal to drain all opponents. Secondary paths use Phyresis on Y'shtola to turn two-point triggers into poison counters (five triggers per opponent), or Fandaniel/G'raha/Inkshield to close with end-step sacrifice and tokens. Commander is the central drain engine; Alisaie/Alphinaud act as a hidden partner pair in the 99, accelerating spells and drawing cards.
