Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a Grixis amass deck that builds one enormous Army, uses the Ring to refuel, and finishes with commander damage or a huge unblockable Army. The deck is built around Sauron's amass trigger and the Ring tempts engine, with Saruman, the White Hand as a hidden second commander that turns every noncreature spell into Army growth. Secondary paths include Nazgul beatdown, Grishnakh theft, and Bolg of the North removal. The deck has strong card draw and interaction but no infinite combos; it wins through sustained board pressure and tempo.
