Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros combat aggro and token strategy led by Iroas, God of Victory. The primary game plan revolves around deploying resilient, low-mana token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, and Otharri, Suns' Glory, then resolving Iroas to make the entire army practically unblockable through menace and total combat damage immunity. Once this attacking base is established, the deck drops explosive damage amplifiers like Blade Historian, Cathars' Crusade, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to dismantle opposing life totals in rapid succession. Because it relies on natural draws rather than tutors, the list maximizes functional redundancy across its threats, mana rocks, and card-draw triggers like Caretaker's Talent and Firemane Commando. It protects its board using premier defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Boros Charm, creating a relentless, evasive beatdown clock.
