Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal build commanded by Edgar Markov. The primary game plan leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate a 1/1 black Vampire token whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating overwhelming board presence without requiring Edgar to be cast. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost Vampires like Knight of the Ebon Legion, Cordial Vampire, and Vampire Socialite to rapidly establish a wide board by Turn 3 or 4. In the midgame, the deck converts token swarms into lethal pressure using explosive combat multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and Banner of Kinship, supported by direct life drain from Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, and Vein Ripper.
