Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green Voltron strategy centered on Hit-Monkey. Printed with uncounterability, haste, hexproof, vigilance, and deathtouch, the commander enters combat ready to pressure opposing life totals without fear of spot removal or counterspells. The supporting 99 accelerates mana development with efficient dorks and rocks, allowing Hit-Monkey to deploy by Turn 3 or 4. A deep arsenal of Auras, Equipment, and the Sword cycle rapidly amplifies its power to lethal commander-damage thresholds, while combat-damage triggers replenish the hand. Alternative win conditions like Fynn, the Fangbearer, Grafted Exoskeleton, and Triumph of the Hordes provide poison velocity. The deck shields its board against sweepers using Heroic Intervention and Umbra armor, while disrupting key opposing permanents with bite spells and artifact/enchantment removal. Sequentially eliminating opponents in combat, the deck reliably closes out games by Turn 7.
