Lady Octopus by omonreal

Format: Commander

Commander: Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor is the deck's free-cast engine: one-mana cantrips turn two draws per turn into ingenuity counters, then her activated ability puts artifact spells onto the battlefield for free. The primary plan is to cheat out a critical mass of large artifact creatures and artifact value pieces, then win through combat, often with Cybermen Squadron granting myriad so one attack wave hits every opponent. Secondary cheat outlets include Master Transmuter, Tezzeret the Seeker, and Planetarium of Wan Shi Tong. There is no infinite-mana combo and no one-turn kill; the deck grinds to an overwhelming board and finishes with repeated swings.
