Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange combat deck led by partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The strategy revolves around creating artifact and creature tokens (such as Food, Clues, Mutagens, and Ninjas) to trigger Leonardo's global +1/+1 counter ability. Michelangelo enables this plan directly by attacking to generate Food and counters. The 99 amplifies this foundation with counter doublers like Corpsejack Menace and Doubling Season, token swarms via Endless Foot Assault, and combat amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle and Raphael, the Nightwatcher. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents with large, evasive creatures granted menace and trample by Leonardo's five-color activation, supplemented by direct damage from Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute. While resilient against standard destroy sweepers thanks to cards like Continue?, the deck remains vulnerable to exile-based board wipes.
