Milling in different ways!? by Geurimja

Format: Commander

Commander: Gyruda, Doom of Depths

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a clone-and-reanimate value deck helmed by Gyruda, Doom of Depths, played as a straight commander (the companion restriction is not honored - the list is full of odd-mana cards). The plan is to cast Gyruda, mill four cards per opponent, and reanimate an even-mana creature, then amplify that trigger with Panharmonicon, Roaming Throne, Starfield Vocalist, and The Water Crystal to mill opponents out or flood the board with reanimated threats. A dense shapeshifter package - Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Spark Double, Clever Impersonator, Phyrexian Metamorph - copies the best creatures on the table (including Gyruda itself), while flicker effects like Conjurer's Closet and Ghostly Flicker re-trigger every ETB. The deck wins through mill-out via amplified Gyruda triggers or combat with copied threats, backed by a deep counterspell suite.
