Rootha hurts

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment leads an aggressive spellslinger tempo strategy focused on generating large, evasive threats at the beginning of combat. By casting high-mana-value instants and sorceries before attackers are declared, Rootha creates massive Elemental tokens with flying and haste. The deck accelerates this gameplan through substantial cost reduction engines like Magnus the Red and Mindsplice Apparatus, enabling expensive spells to be cast cheaply. Victory is achieved through explosive aerial combat steps backed by extra-combat spells like Relentless Assault and Full Throttle, as well as lethal overrun finishers like Surge to Victory.
