The Mycotyrant - Solid Funguy by user8934899

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mycotyrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Mycotyrant leads a Golgari graveyard-token engine that converts self-mill and sacrifice into a massive army of Fungi and Saprolings. The deck fills the graveyard through dredge, mill triggers, and recursive permanents to continuously trigger the commander descent ability. As tokens accumulate, mana engines like Jaheira and Brightcap Badger fuel game-ending spells. The primary path to victory involves overwhelming opponents with Craterhoof Behemoth, leveraging massive token doublers, or draining tables with aristocrats like Syr Konrad, Ayara, and Mirkwood Bats. Secondary lines exploit infinite loops with Ashnod's Altar, Chatterfang, and Slimefoot, or direct life loss via Jarad sacrificing an enormous creature.
