The Lord of the Eagles by user8659147

Format: Commander

Commander: The Lord of the Eagles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck swarms the board with cheap creatures that have flying, then uses their total power to cast The Lord of the Eagles for only {U}{U} and close with an 8/8 flash threat. You control the early game with 13 counterspells and tap effects, draw extra cards off flying attacks, and grind value. The Lord is the finisher, not the engine; you flash it in when the board is ready or to block. Teo, Spirited Glider and Siani, Eye of the Storm act as hidden commanders, turning every flying attack into cards and selection. Without infinite combos, you win by incremental flying combat and occasional mill or theft.
