Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Spellslinger list built around Gandalf of the Secret Fire. It leverages Gandalf's ability to exile instants and sorceries cast on opponents' turns with suspend counters, granting substantial deferred value. Flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation and Gandalf, Friend of the Shire allow sorceries to gain suspend as well. Time-travel and counter-manipulation cards such as Clockspinning and All of History, All at Once accelerate these suspended spells into rapid resolution. The deck transitions into a lethal win through storm and magecraft engines. By combining Storm-Kiln Artist with card-draw engines like Archmage Emeritus or Whirlwind of Thought, the deck generates positive mana and card velocity from cheap spells and rituals. It finishes games in a single explosive turn using table-wide burn from Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe, capped off with storm finishers like Grapeshot.
