Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer by oscarmateo

Format: Commander

Commander: Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet token-copy deck built around Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer's ability to turn a whole battlefield of tokens into one chosen token. The primary game plan is to make a single high-quality token copy - of Combat Celebrant, Myr Battlesphere, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, or Goldspan Dragon - and then let Brudiclad convert every Myr into that threat at the beginning of combat. The deck's most explosive line is an extra-combat chain: a token copy of Combat Celebrant plus Brudiclad generates additional combats, and Brudiclad creates a fresh hasty Celebrant token at the beginning of each of them. The secondary plan is a slower value grind through treasure generation, draw-on-token-damage, and clone spells like Rite of Replication, with Rionya, Fire Dancer acting as a powerful secondary token engine.
