Deck overview

This Jeskai deck uses Captain America, First Avenger as both an aggressive Voltron threat and a flexible removal engine. The game plan focuses on casting Captain America early and using his Catch ability to attach massive Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat, and Hammer of Nazahn for free at the start of combat. Captain America can then swing for lethal commander damage or use Throw to fling high-cost Equipment directly at opposing creatures and life totals. Supporting creatures like Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer maintain card flow, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Reyav, Master Smith multiply combat damage across the table. For an alternate win condition, Godo, Bandit Warlord tutors Helm of the Host to execute an infinite combat loop. A suite of efficient countermagic and indestructible-granting artifacts protects the board as the deck closes the game by Turn 7.
