Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and token swarm deck commanded by Eris, Roar of the Storm. The strategy focuses on filling the graveyard early with instants and sorceries of diverse mana values using cheap cantrips and high-cost cycling cards like Boon of the Wish-Giver and Magma Opus. This reduces Eris's casting cost from ten mana down to just two mana by Turn 4. Once deployed, casting two spells each turn creates a growing army of 4/4 flying Dragon Elemental tokens with prowess. The deck exploits Eris's massive 10 mana value through explosive conversion spells like Energy Tap for mana and Rush of Knowledge or Traverse Eternity to draw ten cards. Game finishes are executed through explosive damage multipliers such as Isengard Unleashed, Dragon Tempest, and Surge to Victory, dealing lethal aerial combat damage and direct burn to all opponents simultaneously.
