Deck overview

This Bant deck is a legendary-tribal midrange build helmed by Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man, built almost entirely around the transformed back face. Amazing Spider-Man grants every legendary spell you cast web-slinging {G}{W}{U}, letting you cheat out the deck's heavy hitters - Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, both Ghaltas, both Komas, Chulane, Teller of Tales, and the Myojins - for a flat three mana by returning a tapped creature you control to hand; the front side's Spider token is tailor-made fodder for that cost. The plan is ramp into a wall of legendary value, bury opponents in card advantage through Reki, the History of Kamigawa, The Great Henge, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, then close with a pumped combat step via Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, and Akroma's Will. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through combat inevitability and the extra turn from Karn's Temporal Sundering, with Urza's Ruinous Blast doubling as a near-one-sided wipe.
