Deck overview

This Temur Dinosaur deck is piloted by the Partner pairing of Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer and Blue, Loyal Raptor. The primary game plan focuses on utilizing Owen to place vital keyword counters—most notably haste and trample—onto Blue, who in turn shares those counters with every subsequent Dinosaur entering the battlefield. Backed by solid green ramp and cost reducers such as Marauding Raptor and Urza's Incubator, the deck rapidly casts overwhelming prehistoric beaters like Quartzwood Crasher, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Etali, Primal Storm. Card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Temur Ascendancy keep the hand refueled as threats enter. In addition to overwhelming trample combat damage, the deck contains an infinite combat backup win condition via Aggravated Assault and Bear Umbra. Reactive interaction and spot protection ensure threats survive long enough to eliminate opponents across decisive combat steps.
