Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Bant counters and proliferate midrange deck led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The game plan accelerates mana through scaling dorks like Incubation Druid, Gyre Sage, and Kami of Whispered Hopes to deploy Tidus and counter enablers early. Tidus manipulates keyword and +1/+1 counters, using his Cheer ability to draw cards and proliferate each combat step. Card advantage compounds through engines like Danny Pink and Fathom Mage, rapidly turning the board into an insurmountable swarm. The deck closes games around turn 5 or 6 using evasion pieces like Herald of Secret Streams, Champion of Lambholt, and Kodama of the West Tree, or by clearing the way with an asymmetric Damning Verdict. It also houses an instant two-card infinite damage combo in Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista, backed by premier protection including Flawless Maneuver, Fierce Guardianship, and Teferi's Protection.
