What it MEANs to be GREENs by tamtam

Format: Commander

Commander: Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green stompy list helmed by Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The plan is straightforward: accelerate with cheap dorks and auras, land Goreclaw, then slam a critical mass of power-4+ creatures at a two-mana discount and run the table over with trample. Goreclaw is a curve-smoother and combat anthem, not a hidden combo piece - the 99 is a self-contained pile of haymakers, ETB-draw engines, and power doublers that still functions if the commander never resolves. Redundant cost reduction from Nylea, Keen-Eyed, Defiler of Vigor, and Radagast of Rhosgobel backs that up. There are no infinite combos and no alternate win conditions; every path is combat. Finishers are the power-multipliers - Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, God-Eternal Rhonas, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa - turning a developed board into 40-point trampling swings. Average mana value is a chunky 4.53, so the deck is a mid-game snowball rather than a fast combo kill.
