Deck overview

This Boros deck harnesses Lorehold, the Historian to turn massive, high-cost sorceries and instants into devastating 2-mana miracle spells cast on opponents' turns. By utilizing Lorehold's upkeep rummaging ability alongside topdeck manipulation tools like Library of Leng, Scroll Rack, and Sensei's Divining Top, the deck consistently cheats the mana costs of game-warping cards such as Storm Herd, Rise of the Eldrazi, and Call Forth the Tempest. Off-turn mana rocks like Bender's Waterskin and Victory Chimes ensure that miracle mana is always available without tapping out during your own turn. A robust suite of low-cost protection spells, efficient spot removal, and asymmetric sweepers ensures the engine remains shielded while keeping opposing boards under control until a decisive swing or burst finish closes the game.
