Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a dedicated Grixis Wheels and Group-Slug strategy designed to turn symmetrical card draw into lethal asymmetric damage. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks to deploy Nekusar or secondary punishers like Fate Unraveler and Psychosis Crawler by Turn 4 or 5. Once an engine piece is active, the deck casts high-impact wheel effects such as Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Incendiary Command. These spells strip opposing hands, restock the pilot's resources, and deal massive bursts of burn damage across all opponents simultaneously. The deck supports this game plan with a robust suite of Grixis interaction, including flexible countermagic, creature removal, and board wipes like Blasphemous Act. Backup win conditions include poison counters via Phyresis or Tainted Strike, draw-locks with Narset and Notion Thief, and the Curiosity plus Niv-Mizzet loop. It delivers consistent, high-pressure gameplay across typical casual Commander tables.
