Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red Voltron and impulse aggro deck commanded by Laelia, the Blade Reforged. The core strategy maximizes Laelia's growth triggers by using exile-based card advantage, cascade spells, and discover triggers. Whenever cards are exiled from the library or graveyard—such as card-by-card cascade iterations—Laelia gains +1/+1 counters for each card exiled, rapidly swelling into a lethal threat. Supported by damage multipliers like Temur Battle Rage, Embercleave, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, the deck quickly converts its commander's size into decisive combat damage. Redundant impulse draw spells like Wrenn's Resolve and Light Up the Stage maintain a continuous stream of gas and land drops. While the deck possesses explosive single-target and multi-target burst damage, it remains susceptible to well-timed spot removal and lacks enchantment answers.
