Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred aggro-midrange strategy piloted by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck leverages the connive mechanic to sculpt card selection, buff attacking Villains with +1/+1 counters, and burn opponents whenever land cards are discarded. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and low-cost Villains such as Prowler, Clawed Thief and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. Once Doctor Doom hits the battlefield, combat triggers grant menace and trigger connive every turn. Token generators like Madame Hydra and Criminal Enterprise build a wide board, while payoffs such as Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon and The Squadron Sinister turn that board into a lethal aerial assault. With efficient removal like Toxic Deluge and Bedevil, the deck disrupts opposing game plans while continuously applying combat pressure and burn to close the game around Turn 8.
